The garment-sculpture Barbara Reborn is an enquiry into the body, body gesture and the immediate space around us. Through body distortions and body extensions this piece explores the imposed roles of beauty from western society. Barbara Reborn in the beach also explores the change of the oceans due to the overuse of non-compostable rubbish, overfishing and chemical pollution.
